Noel O’Regan

Promara Ltd, was founded by Noel O’Regan in 2003 to focus on the Irish commercial and fishing fleets. Noel enjoyed a career as a Marine Engineer at sea spanning 16 years, with 10 years as Chief Engineer, followed by 23 years (to date) as a service provider to the Irish Marine industry.

Highlights are:

Founder and Managing Director of Promara ltd.

Headline personal qualifications include Class 1 Cert of Competency (Motor), Masters Degree in Business Administration and certified in Naval Architecture.

Founder and Managing Director of the Irish subsidiary of World’s largest ship power supplier with successful workshops In Killybegs & Dublin for 10 yrs. Developed major customer base of 1/2 Million kW in ferries, trawlers and commercials shipping.

Cadetship at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies from 1977.

Youngest ever Chief Engineer with Ireland’s largest ship-owners. Experienced Engineer on Tankers, Bulkers, Container vessel to 100k Tons.

Chief Engineer in Irish vessels operating in Europe & Asia, including new build Chief Engineer for fleet renewals in Japan & Europe.
